Work has been really great!

My boss and I super jive (she's also my smoking buddy).

What's soooo great about my job is aside from doing the usual marketing, pr and advertising, I also get to write for the in-store magazine of the Mommy and kids line and for the catalog/magazine of the teen line. Yun nga lang, I'm not a parent yet, so for the past 2 days, I've been reading and reading parenting magazines (both local and foreign). I've also started coming up with articles for the holiday issue. So for you cool parents out there, I'll be needing a lot of your help very soon (yeah, we'll feature your kids)!

It's funny, yesterday, I looked at a lot of kids' photos that were sent by modeling agencies and 95% of these kids were half something and half pinoy. In fairness, some of them were cute naman but most of them were like, nyaaaaahhh!!!So okay, maybe "funny" isn't really the right word pero do they actually think na just because they're half and half, pwede na sila pang-commercial and stuff? I swear, mas madami pang cute authentic Pinoy kids.

[out of topic] I just realized the other day that Monique Leviste looks sooo much like Jasmine Trias. I swear, if she puts a flower behind her ear, she's Jasmine Trias in about 5 or 7 years.

about moi

Loves the beach, wishes she had more time and money to travel, recently got hooked to climbing mountains, reads anything she can get her hands on, frustrated writer, adores her 3-year-old Lhasa Apso, Tashi, constantly needs caffeine, ~~wonders when she'll quit smoking~~, and will most likely die due to liver complications from drinking too much ~~(if the cigarettes doesn't get to her lungs first)~~. Can't live without accessories especially big, dangling earrings, shoe freak (aren't we all?), sucker for discovering hole-in-the-wall restaurants, will ingest anything spicy, enjoys giving and receiving massages, addicted to Friends, Sex and the City and CSI, goes gaga over kids, dreams of being alone with Jim Morrison and smoking a joint with Bob Marley. Would love to party with Gwen Stefani, shop with Patricia Field, write poetry with Maya Angelou and have Sting, Nelson Mandela, Mark Twain and Bono over for dinner.
