Monday, December 02, 2002NEWS FLASH: I'M SINGLE...AGAIN!
Yeah, we broke up. Actually he broke up with me for the shallowest reason ever. As much as i wanna tell you guys exactly what happened, i can't. But trust me when i say that its waaaayy too shallow. Its so shallow that i've described this breakup to be funny and frustrating because never in my life did i think that someone as mature as him could still be such a kid. Anyway, i tried my best talking him out of it. But he called me a lot of bad things that were totally uncalled for. To the point where he was so disrespectful na. Asked him if what he was doing was worth it. Super shallow. I swear. Then he started saying REALLY bad things to me again.
I'm a pretty patient person but this time, i couldn't take it anymore. That was my deal breaker. So i said, "Lets not talk first because I'm beginning to ask myself if i deserve this kind of treatment from you." And once i question myself.....THAT'S IT.
So like any other girl, i ran to my friends, told them what happened and cried. After a few hugs from them, they bring me to the bathroom and....they blowdry my hair. It was such a funny sight!!! Imagine me crying while my girlfriends style my hair. I was laughing and crying at the same time!
And then they brought me to the....*drumroll please*....parlor! My friend and i got a facial and our other friend got a haircut. Then they brought me to the mall and we went shopping for kikay stuff and had dinner.
I LOVE MY FRIENDS! Thanks for being there for me, guys!
You know whats weird, I'm super fine now. As in I actually have this perennial smile on my face. I'm no longer that girl who would sulk in her room, refuse to see some sun, cry all day and feel sorry for herself because the man she loved left her. Now, i keep my head up because i know i tried to make things work. Because in my heart, i know i loved him to the full extent of my being and if to him, thats not enough, then i don't know what is. I smile because i know that life goes on. My life goes on. And my experiences have made me strong.
