So i went to Aldo's going away party last Friday. Surprisingly, our friend, Carla went. The last time i saw her was around last month when she went to my house to borrow some beach stuff she needed for her Boracay trip. Anyhow, so she approached me as soon as she got to Aldo's place and goes, "hey Buns, i've got news for you." So when i asked her what the news was, she goes, "I'm pregnant! I'm 5 weeks pregnant!!!" I think it took 5 seconds before i could say something. I was so dumbfounded!!! I wanted to bop her head for being so stupid! Don't get me wrong, i love kids and i intend on having my own in the near future (hopefully!) but this girl was only 20 years old and she's still in college!!! Suddenly, she has to put her whole life on hold because she got knocked off. To top it all off, the guy (her ex-boyfriend) who got her pregnant already has another kid with his ex-girlfriend. What has this world come to?!?!? And here's my friend saying that when her baby comes out, she's going to give the nickname, "Bo". Wanna know why? Because it was made in BOracay. Uggghhhh!!! I dunno whether to laugh or cry.

I'm already out of school, been in the workforce for almost 4 years and although sometimes, i get this feeling that I already want to have a kid, i see images of milk, diapers, cribs, baby clothes, etc. All that money you have to spend on your precious angel. And although i'm making a bit much than what other people in my category are making, it's still not enough to raise a child. I want my babies to have the best of everything and of course, that will come at a cost and right now, if you ask me, I'm just not ready.

about moi

Loves the beach, wishes she had more time and money to travel, recently got hooked to climbing mountains, reads anything she can get her hands on, frustrated writer, adores her 3-year-old Lhasa Apso, Tashi, constantly needs caffeine, ~~wonders when she'll quit smoking~~, and will most likely die due to liver complications from drinking too much ~~(if the cigarettes doesn't get to her lungs first)~~. Can't live without accessories especially big, dangling earrings, shoe freak (aren't we all?), sucker for discovering hole-in-the-wall restaurants, will ingest anything spicy, enjoys giving and receiving massages, addicted to Friends, Sex and the City and CSI, goes gaga over kids, dreams of being alone with Jim Morrison and smoking a joint with Bob Marley. Would love to party with Gwen Stefani, shop with Patricia Field, write poetry with Maya Angelou and have Sting, Nelson Mandela, Mark Twain and Bono over for dinner.
